French ambassador Corinne Breuze said her country's investments in Jordan amounted to over €3 billion in various sectors, noting that the French oil and gas company Total has the biggest capital in the Kingdom. She said in remarks during a ceremony in the northern city of Irbid launching the new design of Total petrol stations that the investments are spread over several sectors in addition to a €400 million loan by the French Agency for Development to finance projects and another €150 million loan, 100 euros of which to support the treasury that had been transferred two weeks ago. Breuze said Total has the largest investment that helps the economy and society as it currently operates 23 gas stations across the Kingdom and will open a further 20 stations next year that will create more jobs.
