Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has controlled a limited gas leak of hydrogen sulfide condensates at Um-Qadir in west Kuwait. The gas leak, which took place Tuesday morning, has caused no casualties, the KOC said to KUNA, adding that its emergency teams rushed to the site. They evacuated the workers from the location in order to ensure their safety before they controlled the incident. The KOC's maintenance teams immediately isolated gas pipelines in the vicinity with a view to managing the gas leak and repairing the leaked pipeline, it said. Hydrogen sulfide rates were totally safe, the company reassured.
