
The meeting of the Arab Parliament (AP) will open in Bahrain next Sunday. A total of 80 AP members will converge in Manama to attend the five-day session, Parliament Acting Secretary-General, Jamal Jassim Zuweid, was quoted by Bahraini News Agency as saying. Parliament Chairma,n Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani, has issued directives to set up a coordination steering committee and specialised work teams in coordination with the AP General-Secretariat and the Shura Council. Jamal Jassim Zuweid attended the meeting of the coordination committee which reviewed ongoing preparations. Source: WAM
