Egyptian superstar Menna Shalaby said what is currently happening in Egypt was expected, describing the Muslim Brotherhood as a failed organisation “that is working to destroy the country.” Shalaby said to Arab Today that Egypt has witnesses a critical phase in its history, highlighting that it was a major step to oust the formerly ruling group from power. She added that what happened in Egypt showed what the price of freedom really is, adding “it is a freedom we managed to achieve.”
