Swedi Electric Company said it will carry out a power generation project in Iraq at a cost of dlrs 169 million. The project will be carried out in cooperation with the Arab Contractors for designing and building a power generation plant in al-Diwaniyah city. The project is to be carried out in 18 months and will add 500 MWs for the Iraqi national power grid, according to a statement issued by the company.
