Palestinian journalist Mazin al-Bandak died on Monday aged 78 in Lebanon, his relatives said. Al-Bandak, the editor of al-Jeel magazine, suffered a stroke. He was known in Lebanon as a veteran campaigner for Palestinian rights. His funeral will be held in Beirut on Wednesday. Al-Bandak's sister Suad Abu Rdeina will hold an open mourning day at the Orthodox Assembly in Bethlehem on Thursday.
