Scores of people gathered in a park in central Ankara in protest against statements by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan about mixed male-female student hostels. Similar protests were organized in Istanbul and Izmir cities. Erdogan said earlier during a meeting of his party that nobody knows what happens at these hostels.
