Indian Business Leaders

Gulf Bank was pleased to host a networking dinner for the Indian Business Leaders of Kuwait, in partnership with the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) on Wednesday, 25 October at the Badriya Ballroom –Jumeriah Messilah Beach Hotel.

Gulf Bank’s Corporate Partners, a department that specifically caters to the Bank’s corporate client base, held the event and celebrated the wide-ranging achievements of the Indian business community in Kuwait.  During the unique occasion, there was also a special farewell to the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Sunil Jain, who has been serving in Kuwait since 2013.  The group wished him well in his retirement, having already served 35 years in the Indian diplomatic corps in various posts across the world. The evening also included an outlook on the Kuwait market from the Bank’s Treasury Department, an overview of WISE Investments, and presentations from Consumer and Corporate Banking representatives.

The Corporate Partners program offers the Bank’s corporate client base greater access to Gulf Bank’s world-class financial services and products, and is aligned with the banks overall strategy to improve and enhance customer banking experiences. With this new program, corporate clients are able to easily avail themselves of a comprehensive suite of the Bank’s retail products for both the client and all of their employees. These include Corporate credit and debit cards with offers as well as the presence of Gulf Bank ATMs, and POS payment machines at corporate client.

Ahmad Al-Duwaisan, General Manager of Corporate Banking at Gulf Bank commented on the streamlined corporate services offerings saying: “We realize that customers have more choices than ever before, so we asked what we could do that goes beyond what’s currently in the market. As our corporate clients are an integral part of our business we studied their needs, including needs they might not realize they have and developed our Corporate Partners department which is dedicated to delivering an innovative mix of corporate and retail offerings, coupled with superior customer service.  We believe this will simplify banking for both corporations and their employees.”

Mr. Al-Duwaisan continued: “The Bank was happy to host The Indian Business Leaders of Kuwait while also introducing ‘Corporate Partners’.  We thank the Indian Business and Professional Council for being our valued guest in this event. The feedback we’ve already received is both promising and encouraging. We look forward to hosting more of our corporate clients in similar events in the near future.”
