Egypt allowed 20 tonnes of medicine for hospitals and medical centres in Gaza through the Rafah border crossing on Monday. Egypt only allows individuals and medical assistance through the Rafah crossing, while the rest of the aid enters through Awja crossing, in the centre of Sinai, between the Egyptian and Israeli borders. Aid entry and distribution was coordinated by the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent, Major General Gaber Al Arabi, Head of the Egyptian Red Crescent and Secretary General of North Sinai Governorate, told Arabstoday.
