Judicial officers of Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) have seized 325 expired food products and goods from a grocery store in the Wilayat of Al Batinah South, during an inspection drive. Legal procedures have been initiated against the store owner,  said a PACP statement, as the expired goods violate Article 3 of the Law of Consumer Protection. The law dealing with protecting consumer rights and Article 9 of the same law guarantee the consumer the right to health and safety when provided with any product. Times Of Oman
