Minister of Health Abdul Latif Wreikat on Saturday said the ministry will address the concerned parties on meeting the demands of resident doctors. Speaking during a meeting with Jordan Medical Association (JMA) President Ahmad Armouti, JMA council members and representatives of the ministry’s resident doctors, Wreikat said a committee will be formed to study resident doctors’ conditions in order to improve them. The committee members include representatives of the JMA and resident doctors, the minister noted. Armouti said resident doctors’ demands for job titles, higher allowances and better working conditions were fair.
