Health Minister Abdul Latif Wreikat discussed with his Palestinian counterpart Hani Abdin means of boosting health cooperation between the two countries through the implementation of the health cooperation protocol. The two ministers expressed their interest in the issue of treating Palestinian patients at Jordanian hospitals and medical centers, and highlighted the need to regulate the arrival of Palestinian patients in the Kingdom. Wreikat expressed Jordan’s keenness to support the Palestinian health sector and meet all its needs. The Palestinian minister valued Jordan’s role in supporting the Palestinian health sector and enabling it to overcome challenges facing it.
