The Ministry of Health in Macedonia announced on Friday the death of a female citizen from swine flu despite undergoing an intensive treatment program. The health authorities have isolated 22 Macedonian citizens in private health centers to prevent them from mixing with people due to suspicions that they may be infected with the swine flu, also known as H1N1 virus, which began spreading in the Balkans since the beginning of the year, the ministry said in a statement. Meanwhile, health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina also announced recording several cases of the virus that led to the death of many of its citizens last year.
