A man was killed and 23 other people were injured on Sunday when a private university’s bus collided with a saloon car in the southern Amman suburb of Jizah, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD). It said rescue teams and medics from the Madaba and East Amman civil defence departments rushed to the scene, administered first aid to the injured and evacuated them to the Tutanji Government Hospital. It said the injured suffered various cuts and bruises but were generally in a stable condition.
