The Turkish security forces deployed alongn the joint borders with Syria arrested 1,139 members of the Daesh terrorist group over the past 13 months amid tight security measures on the borders.

The arrested included women.

About 178 persons were nabbed during January compared to 53 in the month time last year, Hurriyet Daily News quoted a Turkish military source as saying on Sunday.
