As many as twelve people were injured during clashes in Cairo and Alexandria and Sharqiya between supporters and opponents of President Mohamed Morsi on Friday, Health Ministry official Khaled el-Khatib said. El-Khatib added that two were injured in protests outside the High Court of Justice, in downtown Cairo, and nine were injured in clashes in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria. He added that one was wounded in protests outside Sharqiya governorate building. He said that all cases were transferred to hospitals for treatment.
