Up to 14 people died and 850 others were wounded in the latest wave of violent disturbances across the country, Egyptian Ministry of Health said on Saturday. Dr. Mohammad Sultan, the head of emergency, said in a statement seven of the dead were reported in Cairo Governorate, including three in the violence at Al-Tareer Square, and four in vicinity of the Republic Guards headquarters in eastern Cairo. Up to 345 of the wounded were reported in the capital governorate, including 222 who were hurt at Al-Tahreer Square. Up to 82 others were injured near the Republic Guards headquarters, 27 near Rabaa Al-Adawiah mosque and 14 in the heart of the capital. He added, in his breakdown of the wounded figure, that 190 people were injured in the clashes in Alexandria Governorate.
