1600 Turkmens flee Russian, Syrian regime airstrikes

More than 1,600 Syrian Turkmens arrived in Turkey within two days to seek refuge from Russian and Assad regime airstrikes, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced.

Tarık Sülo Cevizci, vice chairman of the Syrian Turkmen National Movement Party, said that civilians in the Bayırbucak region started to flee to Turkey after rumors emerged that the Syrian regime was decisive to kill all civilians in the region with a ground offensive, Daily Sabah reported on Sunday.

He said that it's impossible to stand against the bombing which intensifies day by day.
