Two people have been arrested in connection with the \"manhandling\" case of a Pakistani diplomat Monday evening, police said on Tuesday. Pakistan\'s First Secretary (Trade) Zirgham Raza, suffered bruises in a brawl after his car and a motorcycle were involved in an accident in Ber Serai Monday evening in New Delhi as he was returning to his home. A woman identified as Roshni, who was also injured and her nephew Rohit were arrested in the case, police said, adding a case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against them in connection with the incident. Over the issue, Pakistan High Commission here has already lodged a strong protest with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), its spokesman Manzoor Ali Memon said. Memon alleged that the two-wheeler overtook the car with the diplomatic number plates and started to abuse the driver on the Aruna Asif Ali road. \"To protect the driver who was being assaulted, the diplomat also came out and he too was manhandled by the crowd,\" Memon added.
