At least two US troops were killed following militants attack in eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan on Saturday. NATO-led International Security Assistance Force today announced, "Two US Forces-Afghanistan service members died following an insurgent attack in Ghazni province, Afghanistan today." The statement did not disclose further information regarding identities of the two deceased US troops saying, "It is USFOR-A policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the US Department of Defense." This comes as two suicide bombers attacked a US military base and district compound in central Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan early Saturday morning. At least 319 NATO service members including 243 US troops, 31 British troops and 45 soldiers from the other countries have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of 2012.
