Rescue teams saved 27 French tourists and ten Egyptian crew members after their boat collided with coral reefs in the Red Sea city of Marsa Alam.

The 27 French tourists were taking a scuba diving trip from Porto Ghaleb to Marsa Allam when their boat hit the reefs and got damaged, a security source said according to an Interior Ministry statement.

The crew sent an SOS, and all the tourists and boat crew were rescued.

They are all in a good health condition, the source added.
