Mafraq - Petra
The second camp for Syrian refugees in the Mreijeb Al Fhoud region in the Zarqa governorate will be ready by the end of this year, Media Spokesperson of Syrian Refugees Affairs in Jordan Anmar Al Hmoud said. Hmoud told Petra that infrastructure work in the camp is going as planned, adding a well will be drilled near the camp to provide refugees with water. He said a plan will be implemented to expand the camp to accommodate 30,000 refugees instead of 6,000, pointing to contacts made with concerned authorities on this issue.
