Three Abu Sayyaf militants were killed in Tuesday's clash with government troops in the southern Philippine province of Basilan, military authorities said. The Western Mindanao Command also reported that four Army Scout Rangers were also wounded in the two-hour fighting that erupted in the uphill village of Guiong, Sumisip town. The wounded soldiers were immediately airlifted to Camp Navarro General Hospital for further treatment.
