Three people were killed in two bomb blasts in central Baghdad on Sunday shortly after two booby-trapped car blasts in east the capital earlier in the day. An Iraqi police source told KUNA the three were killed when two bombs exploded in the areas of Al-Maidan and the Arab market in central Baghdad. The explosion also wounded eight people who were rushed to the nearby hospital. The source said that the death toll of the twin blasts in Al-Shaab area rose to nine after four of the wounded died of their wounds.
