Three Turkish soldiers were injured by cross-border fire from the Syrian side, after armed groups reportedly failed to smuggle weapons. The incident took place near the Kiyigoren border village in Hatay\'s Altinozu district, after a military patrol was targeted by gunfire from inside the Syrian territories, the Turkish military command said in a statement. The statement noted that the attack resulted in the injury of three soldiers who were transferred to a nearby hospital. The statement added that Turkish soldiers responded with fire at the source based on rules of engagement.
