Some 300 Russian citizens were evacuated from war-torn Yemen aboard two separate planes on Thursday evening, a source told “Russia Today” channel on Friday.
One of the two planes left Yemen for Cairo to refuel and the other left for Djibouti.
“The planes left Yemen with the evacuees as part of an operation for evacuating Russian nationals who would like to leave the war-torn country,”the source adeed.
The two planes arrived in Moscow on Friday morning.
