Catalan police on Friday arrested 31 people in Barcelona in an operation against drug trafficking, local media reported. The arrests took place in the neighborhood of La Mina, 10 kilometers away from the city of Barcelona. About 200 policemen simultaneously searched early Friday morning 30 households where large quantities of cocaine, heroin and hashish were found. More arrests are expected to be announced throughout the day.
