New Delhi - Arab Today
Four Indians, who fled the country to join Daesh terrorist group have been nabbed and detained in Syrian prison, Russia Today quoted Syrian Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Waled al Moualem, who is currently in India on a state visit, as saying on Thursday.
"We are willing to hand them over to India. There could be more such Indians linked to Daesh terrorist group," he added.
Moualem said they entered Syria through Jordan and were arrested by the government forces.
He was answering a question during a press conference here on the status of Indians fighting in Syria.
"We have invited the authorities to come and identify them and take them back. They had come to join Daesh," he said.
