Five members of Balochistan Republican Army (BRA) were killed while six others were injured during a search operation in Pakistan's Mastung district on Sunday, Geo News reported.
The suspects were accused of attacking eight oil tankers and abducting the drivers on March 23. The oil tankers were on the way to Saindak Copper and Gold Project in Balochistan from Karachi when they were attacked.
The search was conducted in the Kirdgap area and resulted in an exchange of fire between security forces and the BRA members.
The government forces managed to recover kidnapped drivers during the operation.
