About five people including an Egyptian security personnel,were injured during clashes with protesters who surrounded the Syrian embassy in Cairo Tuesday night, local media reported, quoting a security official. The  protesters who included some syrian activists and opponents and others from april 6 movement , rallied in front of the embassy, located in downtown cairo, carrying slogans against the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and calling for expelling the Syrian ambassador to Cairo. Up to four Egyptian security personnel were injured during clashes with protesters, said Sayed Shafiq, a security official in Cairo, adding that no protester was injured. Egypt's official news agency Middle East News Agency (MENA) said eight people were arrested, adding that security forces were ordered to restore calm and avoid more clashes.
