An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Izu Islands, Japan region at 19:34:12 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 10.20 km, was initially determined to be at 32.0549 degrees north latitude and 138.3387 degrees east longitude.
