Beirut - MENA
Israeli planes continued Tuesday their daily violation of Lebanese airspace, trampling on the UN Resolution 1701 which ended the 2006 Israeli-Lebanese war. Four Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew into the Lebanese air space coming from over Alma Shaab and circled above the southern Lebanese parts and Beirut before leaving toward the occupied territories. Two warjets violated the Lebanese airspace from Kafr Kela and hovered over various parts of Lebanon before leaving from over Alma Shaab. Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out a live ammunition manouver on borders of Shebaa Farms and Golan Heights. The three-hour maneuver used heavy artillery and tanks. On June 2, Lebanon said it will file an emergency complaint with the United Nations over Israel\'s continued violations against its air space.
