Turkish coastal guards seized a rubber boat with 60 Syrian refugees on board in the Aegean Sea, which was on its way to the Greek island of Medley.

The boat was seized off the coasts of Turkey’s Balikesir city, according to Anadolu Agency.

The refugees will be handed over to security authorities after undergoing medical checkups.
