Seven people were killed Saturday as the military clashed with rebels southern Philippines. According to the army of Philippines, two soldiers were killed and five others on the rebels’ side received the same fate when they attacked a military vehicle transporting soldiers. Four soldiers were wounded as well. The vehicle was transporting the soldiers in the town of Guindulungan, 960 kilometers away from capital Manila. The government of Philippines has been in talks with rebel groups over signing a peace agreement.
