Eight explosive devices, planted by unidentified men, have exploded beneath two electricity towers in Qena governorate.

Acting upon a tip-off, police forces rushed to the scene to follow up circumstances of the incident and estimate losses.

Also, sappers were present at the scene to search for any other explosive charges.
