Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday had phone calls with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.During the phone conversations, Abbas discussed with Gul and Erdogan the internal Palestinian situation and the latest developments in the peace process between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.They also reviewed bilateral relations and means of strengthening them further.Gul and Erdogan have reiterated Turkey’s support for the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state along June 1967 borders .
