Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received on Sunday Egyptian Ambassador in Ramallah Yasser Othman to brief him on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories especially the US efforts to reach peace between Palestine and Israel. During the meeting, Abbas hailed Egypt’s support to the Palestinian cause. He also reiterated support for Egypt’s road map and, condemning the recent terrorist operations in Egypt. Abbas also said that the Palestinian administration is keen on Egypt’s role in reaching Palestinian reconciliation.
