The Palestinians are committed to bring about fair and comprehensive peace through negotiations, aiming at establishing a Palestinian state, based on the 1967 borders, with Al-Quds as its capital, the Palestinian president has said. Mahmoud Abbas's remarks came during a meeting Saturday with a US delegation compromising Republican senators John McCaine, John Barrasso and Lindsey Graham. Abbas informed the US delegation about the peace process recent developments. Abbas also praised the US aid to the Palestinian people, especially in the domain of reconstruction of infrastructure.
