Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal pay on Tuesday a working and inspection visit to Tissemsilt (about 250 km west of Algiers) where he will examine the status of projects underway in the province, part of the implementation of the program President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.During this one-day visit, Sellal will review the progress of programs underway in the province, particularly concerning the sectors of housing, water, higher education, transport and public works.Accompanied by a large ministerial delegation, the Prime Minister will commission the project of supplying the commune of Lardjem with drinking water from the "Bouzegza" dam, will inaugurate, in the downtown, a wastewater treatment plant and will inspect the project to build 2,000 teaching positions for the extension of the university of Tissemsilt.In the new area of urban expansion, Sellal will lay the foundation stone of the project of building 300 social housing units and inspect the project of 100 housing units for reducing old housing (RHP).The Prime Minister will also inspect the construction of the railway line connecting Boughezoul (Medea) in Tissemsilt and will follow a presentation on the studies on project of the 160-km highway between Khemis Meliana (Ain Defla), Tissemsilt and Tiaret.At the end of his visit to the province, Sellal will chair a meeting with representatives of the civil society to discuss the problems that hinder local development and find ways to solve them.
