A ranking palestinian official has reiterated the Palestinian Authority’s stand that it would not go ahead with any agreement with the Israelis if it was not based on the international legitimacy resolutions. Spokesperson for the President of the Palestinian Authority, Nabil Abu Rudainah said in a statement carried by the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) here on Thursday that the authority would not approve any deal, whether a framework or final agreement, that does not include fixed Palestinian and Arab positions. Abu Rudainah said the fixed and durable Palestinian position is represented by position of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian leadership that states no state without East Jerusalem as its capital and no recognition of a Jewish state.
