A senior Afghan lawmaker took the western states responsible for Taliban's increased attacks against the country’s people and security forces. “The Taliban was created by the western countries for war and sabotage acts in Afghanistan so that the western states can attain their long-awaited goals in Afghanistan and the region,” Nasrollah Sadeqizadeh Nili told FNA in Kabul on Sunday. He warned that the Taliban is trying to remain in Afghanistan and launch terrorist attacks in the country through the supports it receives from the western states. In relevant remarks in August, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei lashed out at the western countries, specially the US, for creating problems for the regional countries, and called on Muslim nations to prevent any foreign intervention in their internal affairs. “The people in those (Muslim) countries should decide about their own destiny and prevent any foreign intervention,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a group of foreign diplomatic corps in Tehran.
