Sudan’s Representative to the United Nations Dafaallah Al-Hajj announced that the African Union Peace and Security Council will hold a special meeting on the conflict between Sudan and the State of South Sudan over the disputed area of Abyei. The Sudanese diplomat said in remarks he gave today, that the meeting will be held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on the ninth of December. He stressed that the Sudan Mission in New York will be waiting for the outcome of the meeting on the light of which Sudan will decide its next steps on the issue, within the United Nations.
