The opening session of the African Union (AU) summit will be held at 4 p.m. instead of 11 a.m. due to the long duration of the closed consultative session held in the early morning.

During the consultative session attended by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, a report was submitted by African Union Commission Chairwoman Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma on mechanisms of organizing African summits and saving time as well as focusing on handling important and strategic topics, Egypt's Foreign Minister said.
