President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad departed here Monday for New York (US) to take part in the 66th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. Prior to his departure, President Ahmadinejad reviewed a guard of honor. He is heading a high-ranking delegation which included Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi and Head of the Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei as well as a number of other members of the cabinet. This is the seventh visit to New York of President Ahmadinejad to attend a UN General Assembly session.
