Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb met on Monday with Chadian ambassador here for talks on means of boosting cooperation between Al Azhar and Chad in the religious, educational and cultural domains.

The Chadian diplomat said that his people respect Al Azhar which is a great institution that adopts moderate intellect.

He further conveyed his government's gratitude to this great edifice for taking care of the Chadians studying in it.

For his part, el Tayyeb said that Al Azhar is keen on supporting the African country in the religious and educational fields.
