President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Thursday received in his office at the Council of Ministers a delegation of the committee for containing tribal disputes in Darfur, headed by the Chairman of the Council of the States, Gen. Adam Hamid Musa. Gen. Musa said in a statement after the meeting that the committee has toured large parts in Darfur region toward containing the incidents witnessed in Sareef Bani Hussein and Jabal Amer areas, adding that the delegation also visited Al-Fasher, Zalenge, Id Al-Firsan, Al-De\'ain and Genaina and met with leaders of the native administration in Darfur states. He said that a conference will be held on April to contain tribal disputes, besides a reconciliation conference to contain the tribal disputes in Id Al-Firsan and Katila areas. Gen. Musa said that the armed movements managed to instigate tribal sedition among tribes with the aim to undermine security and stability, adding that the President of the Republic has given directive to the committee to continue its mission for containing seditions as quickly as possible.
