Arab League

The 143rd session of the Arab League Council held at the permanent delegates' level prepared Sunday a draft resolution on supporting the Palestinian leadership's move to drag Israeli war leaders to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The resolution will be submitted to Arab foreign ministers ' meeting slated for Monday.
Also, it urges the Arab Group with the Human Rights Council to keep on coordinating with Islamic countries' group and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to stop the Israeli attempts to abolish the Chapter VII of the United Nations Human Rights Charter.
The resolution calls on the international community to immediately intervene to force the Israeli government to stop its settlement activities in the Palestinian territories, especially in the East Jerusalem city.
The resolution asserts that the East Jerusalem city is part and parcel of the Palestinian soil.
The proposed resolution condemns the Israeli practices to demolish Palestinians' houses and forcibly displace many of them residing in the Jordan Valley.
It sees the Israeli displacement policies is flagrant violation to the international principles of human rights.
