The Arab League (AL) will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday at the level of permanent representatives to discuss the issue of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli detention centers.The meeting came upon a Palestinian request, the Palestinian ambassador to Cairo and representative in the AL Barakat al-Farra said on Thursday.Al-Farra said Palestinian Authority's Minister of Prisoners' Affairs Issa Qaraqe will take part in the meeting to get the representatives familiar with the dire conditions and inhumane treatment that prisoners face in Israeli jails.He added that Qaraqe would brief them on the Israeli violations against Palestinian detainees, which contradicted with all respective international charters.
