Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Thursday defended his administration, saying it has achieved its objectives three months after taking office. "In first 100-days, we met our objectives and I am now convinced that new team was the right choice," said Rama Thursday evening in a televised interview. "Serious doubts were cast on General Directors of taxes and customs administration but today we see that it was a great decision to appoint two young girls full of passion and ambition, who in the course of two months transformed the negative trajectory of revenues from customs and taxes," Rama said. Rama spoke highly of progressive tax. "We are proud to have turned into reality our pledge that those who have fewer profits pay fewer taxes and those who benefit more, pay more taxes," he said, adding that that discussion about tax on dividend is still going on.
