The police of Albania's southern city Gjirokaster seized a total of 275 kg of marijuana and two Kalashnikovs and have arrested two people on Saturday evening. The drugs, which came from Lazarat, were seized in the vicinity of the village of Dukaj, about 10 km off Tepelena, south of Albania, according to a statement issued on Sunday by the police of Gjirokaster. The two arrested were transporting the marijuana with a vehicle, the police said. In an ensuing raid at the two people's house, the police found two Kalashnikovs and 25 kg marijuana.
